These are probably the same people who are afraid to give out their email addresses for fear someone might want to communicate with them.

Seems to me it's a great opportunity to tweak the product or service to meet customer demands. It may be uncomfortable for the company, but hey...at least now they know what consumers want (and they didn't have to pay a dime for marketing surveys!)
